GENERAL PATENT COUNSELING SERVICES - I provide advice on all matters relating to my clients' patent matters, including general questions, consultation, review and evaluation of my clients' invention materials, and advice provided in connection with my clients' inventions, patent protection, marketing, licensing, etc. of my clients' inventions.

PATENT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT - I place a strong emphasis on understanding my clients' business, prospective products, and the competitive landscape to evaluate and strategically plan so my clients could maximize their value through their patent portfolio and my clients may best protect themselves from their competitors from encroaching upon their proprietary technology. I strive to develop close working relationships with my clients so they can better help me counsel them. I work to protect my clients' new developments, and create a portfolio of patents which pay for themselves many times over. The creation of a valuable patent portfolio is an on-going process and I maintain an on-going relationship with my clients by discussing any new developments.

FREEDOM TO OPERATE AND PRODUCT CLEARANCES - I advise and assist my clients in evaluating their ability to commercialize their technology free and clear of third party patents.

PATENT INFRINGEMENT OPINIONS - I have extensive experience in investigating and evaluating the scope and validity of patents, and considering the design of my clients' technology from both a patentability and non-infringement point of view. I also have experience in evaluating the scope of protection afforded by my clients' patents, and in investigating and evaluating the possible infringement of their patents by the products and/or activities of third parties.

LICENSING AND TRANSACTIONS - I have experience in handling a wide variety of licensing and transactional matters, including licensing, assignments, due diligence, mergers & acquisitions, IPOs, joint ventures, security interests, technology transfer, employment and consulting contracts, and confidentiality agreements.

DUE DILIGENCE - I evaluate the intellectual property assets involved in a potential business transaction to determine whether my clients are justified in making the investment.
